Louis’s Bar Mitzvah Project
I have chosen to raise money for Chai Lifeline. They provide non-medical support for seriously ill children and their families. My family became aware of this organization a few years ago when a close family friend was injured. Chai Lifeline helped them in many ways such as hospital visits, Shabbat meals, and transportation. They say that you can learn new things from every experience. What I learned from that event was how important this type of support was to my friend and her family, and can be for others.
I have always been interested in music. I remember the day when my parents told me that I was going to learn how to play the guitar. That was my dream come true. Now, I want to share my love for music by reaching my goal of $1000 to support the Karaoke Program at Camp Simcha. Camp Simcha is Chai Lifeline’s overnight summer camp for kids with cancer and other serious illnesses. I think that it’s great that kids can go to Camp Simcha to just have fun and not worry about their health problems. No amount is too small. Please help me reach my goal for this wonderful cause!
Thank you,
Louis
