Baseball has played a really big part in my life. I’ve met a lot of really nice guys, played for some really good coaches and have had many great experiences. Through baseball I was able to play in tournaments along the shore in Delaware, at the Cal Ripken stadiums in Baltimore and at the baseball capitol of the world, Cooperstown, NY. This year I was even lucky
enough to be part of my 7th grade middle school team which won the championship. Baseball has been such a big and wonderful part of my life that I would like to be able to use it to share joy with others.
In honor of my Bar Mitzvah, I am combining my love for baseball with the desire to make a wish come true for children with cancer and other life threatening illnesses. I’ve created Pitches for Wishes, my very own pitch-a-thon.
I will throw 500 pitches over the course of the next several weeks. Every strike equals hope for a sick child. The funds I raise will be sent to Chai Lifeline, an extraordinary organization dedicated to bringing joy and hope to seriously ill children and their families.
You can help by sponsoring Pitches for Wishes.
