As a young child I unfortunately I was sick a lot and had G.E.R.D. (Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease). This disease affected me in many ways. It was very hard to have fun, made my Asthma out of control, I could not eat and I was on tons of medication. I thank Hashem every day that the doctors were able to cure me, but I know how it feels to be sick and not be able to play with friends.
That is the the reason I decided I wanted to work with Chai Lifeline for my Chesed project. Chai Lifeline helps kids with serious illnesses to have a more normal life. Thanks to you I have exeaded my goal of $1500 to sponsor one of these kids sot they can go to Camp Simcha and have a wonderful summer.
You can view my video about Camp Simcha and see for yourself what a wonderful life changing experience for these kids, how much joy it brings them and how this amazing organization helps their families cope with this situation.
I have pledged to contribute 10 % of my bar Mitzvah money to Chai Lifeline as my chesed to the community. Please help me reach my goal by donating to this worthy cause. Together we can help these kids and do a Mitzvah too.
